Track & Field / Cross Country Excellence Fund
The Track & Field/Cross Country Excellence Fund serves as an avenue for individuals to directly invest in the needs of the Jackrabbit Track & Field and Cross Country programs above and beyond our traditional operating expenditures. Your support in the Jackrabbit Club and now the Track & Field/Cross Country Excellence Fund is essential to our program and will help us continue in training a championship level program in The Summit League. All funds raised through the SDSU Jackrabbit Track & Field/Cross Country Excellence Fund will go directly to projects and needs identified by our coaching staff.
The Track & Field/Cross Country Excellence Fund will aid me and my staff in continuing to pursue championships by providing additional resources to enhance the overall Jackrabbit student-athlete experience. With the combined dedication of our student-athletes, coaching staff, past letterwinners, and donors, there is no doubt in my mind that we will continue to compete and win championships year in and year out. You will find a detailed listing of our excellence fund goals below. I hope that I can count on you to continue to elevate our program.

Enhanced Travel Budget
Having funds to travel to elite competitions across the nation will extend our athletes' seasons, allow them an even greater chance to compete at the highest level possible, and provide them with unique opportunities to succeed against the best programs in the country.
Athletic Gear & Equipment
Our world-class Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex (SJAC) provides our student-athletes a place to train and compete year- round, but new gear is vital to enhance the training experience, as well as heighten the impact of home competitions.
Champions/All-American Board
We want to honor our long tradition of elite teams and individuals with a “Board of Champions” in the hallway with the existing trophy case and school records in the SJAC. This board would include the championship teams and All-American individuals from the NAIA, AIAW, NCAA College Division, NCAA Division II, and NCAA Division I eras. It would also highlight the NCAA postgraduate scholars and Academic All-American student-athletes.
