Wrestling Excellence Fund
The Wrestling Excellence Fund serves as an avenue for individuals to directly invest in the needs of the Jackrabbit Wrestling program above and beyond our traditional operating expenditures. Your support of the Wrestling Excellence Fund is essential to our growth and will help us in our quest of being a perennial top-10 program nationally. All funds raised through the Wrestling Excellence Fund will go directly to projects and needs identified by our coaching staff.
The Wrestling Excellence Fund will position Jackrabbit Wrestling for greater success by providing additional resources to enhance the overall Jackrabbit student-athlete experience. With the combined dedication of our student-athletes, coaching staff, past letterwinners, and donors, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be a perennial power both in the Big 12 and nationally. Wrestling Excellence Fund Initiatives
Team Travel
Enhancing the travel budget available to the wrestling team allows student-athletes to compete on a national level, gaining a true Division I experience. Travel allows for current and incoming Jackrabbits to compete with the best in the sport and achieve their best in the competition.
Supplemental Recruiting Budget
To recruit the greatest student-athletes and grow the SDSU legacy, the program must recruit on a national level. Supplementing the recruiting budget enables the wrestling team to enhance outreach and build a team of premier competitors.
Enhanced Overall Experience
Gifts to the Wrestling Excellence Fund ensure a first-rate experience for each student-athlete in the program, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their training opportunities position them for success.
